Job Description

EVO Payments International is a leading publicly traded payments processor and acquirer for merchants, independent sales organizations, financial institutions, government organizations and multinational corporations located throughout North America and Europe.

This role leads the B2B Sales Development by focusing on leading, developing and training prospect development representatives. This is a leadership role, not an individual contributor role.

Essential Functions

  • Manage, train and develop prospect development reps
  • Determine the Lead Generation team’s strategies by conducting needs assessments, performance reviews, capacity planning, and defining productivity/quality metrics with service standards
  • Manage the daily operations of Lead Generation to ensure escalations, emails, voicemails, and staffing issues are handled in accordance with service level expectations
  • Define Implementation’s KPIs and oversee tracking and reporting of performance to ensure team accountability and quality of service
  • Promote EVO’s mission, core values and strategic objectives by providing consistent communication, reporting tools and establishing department goals/objectives to follow
  • Drive team excellence and a culture of building relationships while delighting customers and partners and internal stakeholders
  • Meet regularly with direct reports to establish clear roles, directions and responsibilities and performance requirements. Ensure consistent communication is made to the teams, to keep them informed of current critical changes, issues, initiatives, company projects, product information, etc.
  • Design and manage personnel development programs to attract, develop and retain talent building a track record of developing leaders
  • Train on sales process as well as career path development
  • Drive rep engagement and production through leadership
  • Conduct daily, weekly and monthly meetings with reps to both develop and coach reps.
  • Drive team to meet the monthly appointment quotas.
  • Manage a team to Lead Prospect, qualify and develop sales ready leads through targeted, outbound calling and emails
  • Engage key decision makers to sell B2B services/products over the phone
  • Conduct daily database lead management including capturing, entering, updating, tracking, reporting, and setting leads
  • Meet monthly Sales Opportunity quotas

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma required, Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree a plus
  • Sales management experience, minimum of 2+ years (especially in B2B or Financial Services)
  • Ability to lead and develop a team of prospect development representatives
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and be capable of self-managing with little direction required.
  • Highly motivated to succeed in a performance driven environment
  • Excellent written communication and verbal communication skills
  • Track record of success and quota achievement
  • Computer literacy (Internet Browsing, Microsoft Outlook, Email)
  • Knowledge of merchant and bank products/services and/or payment sales experience
  • Outstanding sales, business development and negotiating skills
  • 2 years+ experience leading groups of individual contributors
  • Ability to multitask and change direction in ever changing payment processing environment
  • Strong communication including oral and presentation skills
  • Experience with Salesforce a plus
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills required.
  • Understanding nuances of products and services offered by EVO, a plus.
